Why I love Make the Cut!

I'm off to New York for a few days holiday (and very excited, it's the first time I've been there) so it'll be a few days before there are more freebies for you.

In the meantime, I thought I'd leave you with a picture of the card I made my Grandma for Mother's Day. It's a very simple card, but I thought it turned out quite pretty. When it came time to make the piece with the lacy scalloped edge, I realized I didn't have a border punch I could use, but I had something even better, Make the Cut! and my Cricut.

It only took me a couple minutes to create the piece with the lace edge in Make the Cut! and I had exactly what I wanted for my card. Make the Cut! makes paper crafting so much easier and gives me so many more options, and that's why I love it!
