How to make layered dimensional flowers

I have a fun new project for you, including a video tutorial and a free cutting file to go along with it!  I love the look of the distressed paper flowers you see on a lot of projects, so I decided to design my own.  This is the result, I hope you like it! You can click on the pic below to download the free cutting file in MTC, SVG and PDF format, then watch the video below to learn how to put the flowers together.  And don't forget, I always love to see what you make with my files.  Enjoy!

  7. Just had a thought--wondering how much quicker this would work if the entire piece of cardstock (white core) were sanded here and there FIRST, cleaned off so no residue is left behind and THEN run through the cutter! That would save some time trying to distress all the individual layers. Going to go try this and will report back with results!

    Thanks for sharing!

  8. @JH Schott, that would work too, just depends how particular you are about which parts of your project you like sanded. I always like a little extra on the edges, but you could do that afterwards as well. Will be interested to hear how it turns out! :-)
